The Index for soybean has been published every day by Cepea since August of 1997 and is used as a reference for trades. Although the CEPEA/ESALQ Index considers only prices in Paraná - an important producer, processor and exporter of soybean -, the Cepea team also gather prices in the states of Rio Grande do Sul, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás, Minas Gerais and São Paulo.
