The CEPEA/ESALQ Index for soybean, previously called ESALQ/BM&FBovespa, represents a weighted average of prices settled in Paraná state for soybean in grain, exporting type, according to the Concex terms: up to 14 percent of humidity, up to 2 percent of impurities, a maximum limit of 8 percent for damaged grains and of 30 percent for broken grains.
The Index for soybean has been published every day by Cepea since August of 1997 and is used as a reference for trades.
